Another Vancouver Urban Sketchers meetup; this one was in the depths of East Van. I tried out oil pastels for the first time in years, and a different format. It was fun, and I didn't even get very far into mixing the few colours I had. But I still like my Pitt black ink pens.

I sat on a McDonalds patio and drew what was in front of me. I had put down a blue wash/splash of watercolour before I went out drawing and then did the ink drawing and added the final watercolour. A typical downtown Vancouver corner.
